Description: A Day on the Pond is how I imagine a Florida Box Turtle would spend his day. Resting on an old oak log with an alligator near by. In my research I learned that developing communities put our Florida wildlife in danger. With our help by recycling and reusing materials pond will be free of pollution. I really enjoyed melting plastic bottles for my alligators skin and twisting plastic grocery bags to make bark of my oak tree. Working with recycled material is not only fun but its free.
