Description: My sculpture applies to this year's theme by showing one of Florida's many native birds mid-flight (blue scrub jay). Using these materials of plastic gallon water jug and award ribbons with plastic grocery bags helps me change my view of making art because now I realize most if not all of these materials would end up on the ground or in a landfill. Now, it is being used to create art.
