Description: Florida Scrub Jay and Scrub Oak Our project is a 3D representation of the Florida Scrub Jay and Scrub Oak thriving in their habitat. Florida scrub jays and scrub oak trees are native to Florida, they depend on one another in their ecosystem for survival. Deforestation has directly affected the population of scrub jays and scrub oak trees, which gives them no protection to survive against predators. The birds’ trust in humans has led it to endangerment. Protections against deforestation have been put in place for some scrub areas and has increased their habitat and the population of the scrub jays.
