Description: Alligator Habitat In our project we provide an American Alligator, a palm tree, and dune sunflowers. All 3 of these are very important to our ecosystem. Alligators help to regulate the animal population since they are at the top of the food chain. Palm trees provide homes for animals and dune sunflowers give food to bees when they pollinate the flowers. All of these species are also useful to humans. Alligator meat and skin is collected by humans, and humans use palm trees for wood, These species could be increased by protecting their ecosystems like the everglades, and to build less buildings where one can find these plants and animals.
