Description: Turtle Life: My Doodad is showing the Florida Box Sea Turtle and I made it with cardboard, a paint set, and recycled things that I found at home. It took me two weeks to finish this project and I used fabric from my mother’s pajamas to create the water in my Doodad. I picked it because something happened one time. One day, on the way home from school my mom had to stop the car to let a box turtle cross the road and be safe. Now, I like to find turtles and they are one of my favorite animals! I think they are the most interesting and unique that I have seen in Florida since I moved here from New Jersey. I have seen them near my house too! They are so slow but special! I hope my project makes everyone want to learn more about Box Turtles.
