TEACHER ASSISTANCE FUNDS – DooDad 2024-2025

Hurricanes Helene and Milton had a tremendous impact on the lives of everyone in Hillsborough County.  The DooDad Committee would like to encourage students to continue to participate in the Annual DooDad Repurposed Sculpture Competition, as creating art can help all both process what has happened and return to a level of normal.  
The DooDad Committee recognizes that students and teachers may need extra help this year to participate in the program.  We have allocated funds within our budget to support participation by reimbursing materials costs.  The funds within our budget are limited, and so would be available on a first come basis.  We will reimburse a teacher up to $200 of supplies expenditures, on the condition that the Teacher/ class will submit at least one (1) sculpture that meets all guidelines is submitted to the contest before the deadline, and email in-progress JPEGS to [email protected].  Reimbursement will be mailed upon receipt of copies of invoices.  The DooDad committee will request return of the funds if a sculpture is not submitted.
When sending images, please do not include the faces of students in the images.

  • Upload Copy of WIP image of sculpture to be submitted to contest
  • Upload copies of receipts
By submitting this requestion, the Teacher covenants and agrees that he/she/they must return the reimbursement amount to Tampa Regional Artists if Teacher fails to meet all specific terms. Teacher also agrees that TRA/ the DooDad Committee can use images submitted in social media to promote the Competition.
