Description: We made flamingos and spoonbills, both Florida native wading shorebirds. We used craft chicken wire, masking tape, fair ribbons, plastic spoons and forks, styrofoam, paint and lots of glue to make our sculpture. We learned details of what these birds look like, where they live and what they eat. Making water and feathers and grass out of ribbons was fun.
