Description: More than half the human body is made up of purely water, 60% in fact. Water is flowing through all of our bodies constantly, and if we didn't intake water every day, we would pass away. This shows just how vital it is for every single organism to have a steady flow of water inside them. Even though water is a never-ending cycle, pollution and other aspects affect the water quality. We see water as only something we need to drink, but for so many other animals and creatures, they call water their home. Imagine having your home full of oil, trash, dangerous objects, and many other gross items. Many of the plastics that get thrown into oceans or rivers, could end up around animals necks or they digest them, which will eventually kill them. Animals aren't the only ones who use water on a daily basis. Water is a plant's bloodline and they run on it everyday. Without plants, oxygen would be much harder to obtain if they didn't exist healthily. Trees and flowers cover almost every part of the earth; helping so many species survive and clean the carbon dioxide out of the air. As someone who uses water every day as a swimmer, I'm so thankful to have clean and safe water that is possible. This is because people recycle and help clean our earth, which needs to be done more often. Our earth is our only home and we all need to do our part in helping it flourish.
