Description: “Running Water”:
I became more aware about how trash in our oceans can affect creatures like sea turtles through my research. I chose to depict water with the items I found around my house, including the doodad requirements of cardboard and fabric. These items themselves can also cause problems to our Earth, including the ocean. By making this artwork, I show that the water running through our faucets is connected to the ocean and that the things people use in everyday life can affect the lives of the creatures in the ocean. My opinion is that we stop using paper and plastic items in our everyday life, or if we do use them, try to reuse them more, as I did in this project.
