TEACHER ASSISTANCE FUNDS – DooDad 2026 – for Title One Schools

    The DooDad Committee recognizes that some students and teachers may need extra support to participate this year. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of TECO, we are able to provide up to $200 in reimbursement funds for three Title One Schools. A limited amount of additional funds may also be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    To make things easier, the application process will be in two parts:

    Step 1: Application (before starting your project)
    Teachers interested in applying for funds should submit:

    • Teacher name & contact information

    • School (must be located in Hillsborough County)

    • Payee (if different from teacher)

    • Address to mail reimbursement check

    Step 2: Reimbursement Submission (with contest entry)
    When your students’ DooDads are completed and submitted to the contest via the contest entry form, you will also need to provide:

    • A completed entry with your students’ sculpture(s)

    • Upload of at least one in-progress JPEG image (no student faces, please)

    • Copies of receipts for eligible supply purchases (up to $200)

    Important Notes:

    • Reimbursement will be mailed after receipts are submitted and at least one qualifying sculpture is entered by the contest deadline.

    • If no sculpture is submitted, the DooDad Committee reserves the right to request return of funds.

    • By submitting this application, teachers agree that images provided may be used by TRA/the DooDad Committee for social media and promotion of the competition.
