Description: Destruction: My name is Cara Kirkpatrick, I'm an 8th grader at Progress Village and I created a water themed sculpture called "Destruction" for the Doodads competition this year. I made a fallen tree because of hurricane Milton and its huge effect on my community and school. I had never considered the powerful force of nature that water can be before this storm season. Now, I understand that although water is necessary for life, it can also bring about chaos. For the trunk and roots, I used brown paper and for the leaf's I used green fabric and ribbon. My delivery box was cut to create the base. If I could change my project I'd make the base and roots more detailed.
