Description: Oasis River: My name is Tessa Chamblee and I am a student at Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts. The inside of the box is the "Oasis River" and the flowing from the moon was supposed to represent something mythical about the river. I feel like I could have executed the water flow from the moon much better, like instead of making two pieces of epoxy, I should have planned out making just one and I could have added a moon reflection by putting a piece of paper, shaped like the moon in the epoxy and lining up the moon sculpture over it. I should have added stands and spikes to the cacti and worked on the outside much harder. The palm trees and starry sky came out best. The outside is supposed to mirror the inside, showing the same sunset sky and sand dunes.
