Description: Dock of the Sea : A chose a brown pelican on a dock piling because most Floridians on the coast have a dock and the brown pelican is the most common pelican in Florida. With my sculpture, I wanted to show the shabbiness above the dock and the beauty below it and how beautiful Florida’s sea life can be. I have worked with cardboard in the past, but this was the first time I completed a sculpture that I am proud of using these materials. I had fun using these materials and would do it again.
