Welcome to the 2026 DooDad Sculpture Competition!

The competition portion of the 2025 Repurposed DooDad Sculpture Competition has officially concluded, and we are incredibly grateful to the students, teachers, families, and schools who brought this year’s theme to life with such imagination and ingenuity.

From inventive uses of obsolete objects to thoughtful interpretations of “Florida, Flying into the Future,” the sculptures submitted this year demonstrated the creativity, humor, and environmental awareness that make the DooDad Competition so special.

Judging and People’s Choice Voting has completed! 🎉

While the judging is complete, the celebration continues! Many of this year’s sculptures are now being featured in exhibitions throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Thank you to every student artist who participated and to the educators who encouraged their creativity!

Description: When Technology Forgets the Earth: This is our project, When Technology Forgets the Earth. This sculpture represents our green future and the way society has corrupted electronics. The green box with grass symbolize the Earth- alive, growing, and naturally balanced. Above it floats a metal flying car made from electronic parts and tin foil, showing how technologies is rising faster than our responsibility for it. Electronics were created to help us, but today they often damage the environment, through pollution, waste, and over consumption. The flying car looks advanced, but it hovers nature, instead of supporting it, suggesting separation rather than natural harmony. This piece asks an important question - Will our future technology protect the planet or continue to rise at it’s expense? It truly green future depends on reconnecting innovation with nature.
