Description: The Kindness in the Water: My name is Rachel Leavitt. I am in the 7th grade, and I go to Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts. My art teacher is Mrs. Gonzalez. The title of my Doodads water project is "The Kindness in the Water." This took several hours to make. I made the armatures for the figures and the umbrella with tin foil and tape. The bench is made with cardboard, hot glue and spray paint. The foundation is made with fabric. The airdry clay makes the top look like its covered in grass. The tree is made with paper and pipe cleaners. The blobs of resin were made to look like puddles. I really like the tree and the armatures. I don't like how the airdry clay cracked. I made this project to show kindness. The warm guy has an umbrella he is sharing with the cool colored guy while it is raining. The warm colors are rubbing off on the cool colored guy. Thank you for letting me share this project with you.
