Description: Atlantis: Hello I’m Brody Munoz from progress village middle magnet and today I have an artwork entitled “Atlantis”. For this price I took inspiration from Greek and Roman architecture to create a small but quite detailed building. The first thing I thought of when I saw water as the theme water was mythical creatures and I chose the mermaid. I chose it because I knew it would add a lot of texture and movement to the piece. This work is very much mixed media with the use of boxes, sequins, and fabrics to create the vision. In the end I leave you with a question “what does a mermaid wash its tail with……… tide”.
