Description: Pirates Day at Sea : My sculpture is a pirate ship. I chose this because pirate ships are a big part of Tampa’s Gasparilla history. Using upcycled material was fun and interesting to work with. It was my first time working with these materials and I learned how to manipulate the cardboard and use fabrics in other ways than their normal everyday uses.
